Stiletto Knife Case Hardened: blue gem pattern guide

Stiletto Knife | Case Hardened

The Stiletto's slim blade is one of the easiest canvases for a near-total blue, and #182 does it "almost perfectly" per the guides - a Minimal Wear example has been listed at $49,999. Below the top seed, the databases disagree on tier membership more than usual, so read the tiers as a spectrum.

HOW THE PATTERN WORKS
Case Hardened is one big mottled texture of blue, purple and gold patina; the pattern index (0-1000) rolled when the item drops picks which slice of it lands on the model. Blue occupies the smallest share of that texture, so a seed that lands heavy blue on the side you actually see - the playside - is the rare one. The blue never fades with wear: float adds scratches and darkens the golds, but a blue gem stays blue even Battle-Scarred.

WHAT COUNTS ON THIS ITEM
Ranked by playside blade blue. The thin profile means a good seed reads as a solid blue line in first person - and a mediocre one hides nothing.
