Skeleton Knife Case Hardened: blue gem pattern guide

Skeleton Knife | Case Hardened

The Skeleton's number one is #403, the seed that also happens to rule half the CS2 knife pool (the Nomad, Survival, Paracord and Classic share its texture mapping). On the Skeleton it lands as a heavy blue playside over that skeletal frame - no legendary million-dollar sale here yet, just a clean, chaseable gem.

HOW THE PATTERN WORKS
Case Hardened is one big mottled texture of blue, purple and gold patina; the pattern index (0-1000) rolled when the item drops picks which slice of it lands on the model. Blue occupies the smallest share of that texture, so a seed that lands heavy blue on the side you actually see - the playside - is the rare one. The blue never fades with wear: float adds scratches and darkens the golds, but a blue gem stays blue even Battle-Scarred.

WHAT COUNTS ON THIS ITEM
The guide is explicit: "the amount of blue in the backside isn't taken into account". Playside blade decides everything; the wrapped handle never changes.
